Less than 1 % of the Swedish limited liability companies meet the requirements to be appointed as a “Gazelle Company” (A high-growth company that is increasing its revenues by at least 20 % annually), according to a research from the Stockholm School of Economics. Air-Site received the prestigious award in December 2014.
In order to receive the title "Gazelle" the company must meet the following criteria:
* Have published at least four annual reports.
* Has an annual turnover exceeding 10 million.
* Have ten employees or more.
* Have continuously increased sales the last three years.
* Have at least doubled its turnover during the same time period.
* Have a positive EBIT for the last four financial years.
* Has essentially grown organically (not through acquisitions or mergers).
* Is financially sound.
